Phase 1: Stabilizers On
The collaborative learning phase. AI asks before acting, knowledge base grows.
Where Everyone Starts
This is the default mode. When you say "stabilizers on" at the start of a blitz session, the AI works collaboratively with you.
What Happens in This Phase
The AI is your assistant, not your replacement. It:
- Categorizes incoming emails
- Handles obvious noise (billing receipts, newsletters)
- Drafts responses for your approval
- Asks questions when uncertain
- Learns your patterns from every interaction
- Updates the knowledge base after each session
What AI Does Autonomously
Low-risk actions that don't need your approval:
- Move billing receipts to a "billing" folder
- Archive newsletters and promotional emails
- Categorize and summarize your inbox
- Draft responses (but not send them)
- Search the knowledge base for context
What AI Asks About
Higher-risk actions that require your approval:
- Sending any email to a customer or client
- Anything involving money (refunds, payments, invoices)
- Emails from unfamiliar contacts
- Situations where tone or approach is unclear
Example Session
You: Let's clear email.Claude: Running 'pontius blitz'... Stabilizers on or auto? You: Stabilizers on.Claude: Running 'pontius list'...Work account (8 new):- 3 billing receipts → moving to billing folder- 2 support tickets → need your input- 1 newsletter → archiving- 2 emails from unknown senders[Moved 3 to billing, archived 1]For the support tickets:1. Alex asking about account access. Draft: "Hi Alex, I can help with that..."2. New lead asking about pricing. Draft: "Thanks for reaching out..."Approve these drafts?Building the Knowledge Base
This happens continuously, not as a separate step. After each session, the AI:
- Adds new contacts with relationship notes
- Saves responses that worked well as templates
- Documents patterns for recurring situations
- Records corrections you made so it doesn't repeat mistakes
When to Move to Phase 2
You'll naturally transition when you start noticing the AI references contacts correctly, suggests templates you've created, and sessions feel faster. There's no checklist—you'll feel it.
