Create an App Password

1. Log in to Fastmail
2. Go to Settings → Password & Security
3. Under "Third-party apps", click New app password
4. Name it "Pontius", select IMAP access
5. Copy the generated password

Add to Pontius

$ pontius

1. Select Add Account
2. Provider: fastmail
3. Enter your display name and email
4. Paste your app password (it won't display)
5. Wait for "Account connected!"

Verify It Works

$ pontius list

You should see your recent emails. If you do, you're done.

Fastmail Aliases

Fastmail supports unlimited aliases. Create them in Fastmail first, then add to Pontius:

$ pontius alias add [email protected]
